Abortion is legal throughout pregnancy in Puerto Rico – there is no ban or limit on abortion in Puerto Rico based on how far along in pregnancy you are.
Parental involvement is not required in Puerto Rico. If you're younger than 18, you can consent to an abortion and do not have to notify a parent to get an abortion in Puerto Rico.
